Today is the official first day of Fall! Hooray! As much as I love Summer fashion, I’m ready to swap my tank tops and flip flops for some chunky sweaters and boots.
Here are my personal top 5 fashion favorites for Fall 2018 every Lazy Girl needs in her wardrobe.
Baker boy Hat
For a few years now the felt floppy hat has been a big hitter in fall fashion….but a new hat is coming to play.
The baker boy hat, also called the paperboy or newsboy hat, adds a different type of flair to any fall outfit. You can use it as a statement piece or wear it to simply pull a look together or sometimes even just use it to hide the fact that you ran out of dry shampoo (been there done that).
You can easily find these hats at an affordable price like this one from Forever21 https://www.forever21.com/us/shop/catalog/product/f21/acc/2000212033
Are you surprised!? Once I feel a tiny cool breeze it’s time to pull out my plaids. While plaid is usually a fall staple, this year we’re seeing it more than ever. Plain pants, skirts, dresses and even plaid sets are all the rage for Fall 2018.
You can find some great ideas for your fall looks On revolve and Forever21 has some great affordable dupes for these looks.
This 70’s fashion staple is finding its way back into stores and into my closet this fall. Whether you need something to keep you warm or a light weight jacket to tie together your look, an oversized blazer is a great staple to have in your closet this fall.
A blazer can help dress up a casual outfit with some jeans and a tee, add some color to your outfit or dress down a cute dress. However you pair it you can’t go wrong with this in your wardrobe for the season.
Pointed Toe Shoes
Similar to the oversized blazer, colorful pointed toe ankle boots were very popular in the 70s and are making their way back into the stores and into our hearts.
Pointed toe mules and slides are also all the rage for the Fall…(specially when you add an animal print into the mix). They provide comfort and style for when you’re on the go or a little bit more laid back.
And we can’t forget our above the knee boots. These have been a hot commodity for a few years now and a pointed toe can help your boots stand out from the crowd.
The pointed toe shoe provides a more sleek and refined look to your outfit and will help keep your toes warm from the fall and winter weather.
While fall usually makes you think of browns and oranges, more warm colors sources from New York fashion week stated we’ll be seeing many more jewel tones incorporated into fall fashion pieces this year.
Using deep luscious colors like deeps purples, blues and emerald will be all the rage so make sure you grab a few turtle necks and accessories in these colors.
Of course there is so much more to love about Fall fashion this year, but this 5 favorites any outfit is sure to be a hit!
